This wellness practice was promoted by The United Nations in 1991.

Known as Taiji Qigong Shibashi, or simply 18 Forms,
Qigong master and researcher Professor Lin Housheng created it by
drawing on traditional flowing movements used for hundreds of years
as energy medicine, illness prevention, and meditative spiritual practice.
Stress and hypertension reduction are among the health benefits
Hence the U.N. endorsement.
Students in my weekly Qigong Mind-Body-Spirit wellness class have been asking
for a recording so they can also practice at home.
So. Here you go: My version in video sharing format is finally ready.
Please accept it for yourself and anyone you would like to share it with
recording is my own spiritual approach.
The millions of other people using this sequence probably have their own take on Shibashi or 18 Forms too.
Please follow instructions and intention setting named at the beginning of this video, including reminders to honor your own body,
modifying as needed including shortening your stance,
or not bending knees as deeply
if that feels better.
I like to sense myself as effortlessly being led, moved, as well as breathed and prayed in by Creator and Sophia universal life force energy Spirit throughout the practice.
Or as scripture put it, by Creator in whose being we
"live, move, and have our being" (Acts 17:28).
Of course choosing to breathe and perceive with such awareness is entirely up to you.
Given the state of our nation and world,
I encourage you to dedicate your practice
to the healing wholeness of all people and beings
in this One Reality of which we all are part.Doing so while plugging into the energy of love.
That is, to experience this practice as
not only energy medicine and spiritual practice for your own sake
but also for the healing peace of the world.
Enjoy.
Love,
Cathy
