Service Description

What is a Soul Friend or spiritual companion (traditionally called spiritual director)? We are those who accompany others along the spiritual journey of life. We offer sacred presence including amid uncertainty. We help others explore and deepen their unfolding sense of meaning, purpose, healing wholeness, spiritual practices, sacred identity and awareness. This includes one’s relationship with others, self, the rest of creation, and the larger reality of which we all are part, which many call God, Great Spirit, or The Sacred. As Soul Friend or Anam Cara/Spiritual Companion, I offer compassionate presence and holy listening. This includes when finding oneself in need of shedding harsh ways of thinking about God, others and/or self that are out grown.  As Soul Friend I am also a safe someone who takes seriously mysterious if not mystical experiences—be it in waking life or dreams. Dreams and synchronicities as spiritual healing, guidance, and Visitations are among the care I offer for tapping into what the soul, subconscious, and Sacred are saying. BACKGROUND: Highly inter-spiritual contemplative Christian mystic (non-dual Love and Unitive or Christ Consciousness). Meditation and mindfulness educator including 30 person doctorate research study and related Christian mystical wisdom on Divine Indwelling heart-focused infused prayer for personal and communal healing. Spiritual Artist. Trained dream guide. Energy healer. Retreat leader. Yin, Hatha, and Yoga Nidra yoga instructor. Qigong instructor, Emeritus Chaplain of Cornell College, and Episcopal priest. 30 years working with highly diverse religious, secular, and spiritual-but-not-religious folks. Mystical wiring since childhood. Down to earth. Not into religious, anti-religious, nor political dogma. Wired since childhood as edge walker/bridge builder. Into Communing love of all souls & beings, connecting heaven and earth Includes soul-to-soul communication, and sacrament of Present Moment & Presence. Keeping to a very limited number of on-going companions though can always make room for one sessions for dreams/other mysterious experience as messages for spiritual healing, guidance, and as Visitation.
